The MultiPlus C 12/1600/70-16 from Victron (MPN: CMP122160000) is a powerful combination of devices for your energy supply system. It combines a 12V 1300W sine wave inverter and an efficient battery charger. This provides you with an impressive 70A, so that even large batteries can be charged quickly when shore or mains power is available. The inverter converts the battery current into 230V alternating current and thus offers optimum power quality for sensitive electronic devices. In addition, the MultiPlus has a lightning-fast 16A transfer switch, making it ideal for motorhomes, boats, yachts and grid-connected UPS systems. In self-consumption systems, it ensures that power is only drawn from the mains when the battery power is insufficient. In the event of a mains failure, it guarantees an uninterrupted power supply.

In addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can also be combined to create a powerful three-phase output configuration. But that's not all - up to six sets of three units can be connected in parallel to achieve an impressive 75kW / 90kVA inverter power and over 2,000A charging capacity.
PowerControl
The MultiPlus is an extremely powerful battery charger that requires a relatively large amount of power from the generator or shore power connection (almost 10A per 5kVA Multi at 230V AC). However, with the Multi Control remote control panel you can easily set the maximum power consumption, automatically taking into account the other connected devices and only using the excess power for charging. This ensures that the generator or shore power connection is never overloaded.
PowerAssist
This function takes the PowerControl principle to a new level. The MultiPlus can now effectively support weak alternative energy sources. As load peaks often only occur for a short time, the device combination ensures that insufficient shore power or generator output is immediately compensated for by energy from the battery. As soon as the loads decrease, i.e. when consumers are switched off, the surplus energy can be used efficiently to charge the batteries again.
System configuration
You can make settings on a single device in just a few minutes using a DIP switch procedure. Parallel and three-phase systems can be easily configured using the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software. Off-grid, grid-connected and self-consumption systems in which grid-tie inverters and/or MPPT solar chargers are used can be easily configured using the corresponding wizard software.

Ekrano GX and Cerbo GX - Provides user-friendly system control and monitoring and allows access to the free VRM Online Portal for remote viewing.
VRM Portal - This free tool displays all your system data in a clear graphical format. you can use this application to make system changes conveniently from anywhere. You also receive alerts directly by email or push notification.
VRM app - You can conveniently monitor and manage your Victron Energy system via your smartphone or tablet. The app is available for both iOS and Android.
