Advantages of the integrated heating mat

• Protection against damage during charging: LiFePO₄ cells must not be charged below 0°C, otherwise lithium plating will occur. This causes permanent damage to the battery and can drastically shorten its service life.
• Maintenance of charging capacity: To enable charging even at cold temperatures, the heating mat warms the cells to a safe temperature.
• Optimizing performance: Cold temperatures reduce the usable capacity and power output of the battery. A heated battery can deliver more energy and operate more efficiently.
