Offgridtec® FSP-Max 400W 36V Foldable Solar Module Solar Case

The FSP-Max 400W from Offgridtec (MPN 014560) is a foldable high-end solar module with connection kit, as well as permanently integrated fold-out supports to enable the module to be set up easily and anywhere at a 45 degree angle. The module is equipped with high-efficiency monocrystalline PERC solar cells with an efficiency of over 23%, delivering a full 400Wp of solar power in optimum orientation and sunshine.

The combination of the compact dimensions when closed and the low total weight of just under 13kg sets new standards in terms of the flexibility and efficiency of mobile solar modules. This makes it flexible and easy to supply mobile or permanently installed energy storage systems.

Simple and can be used anywhere

Four feet are permanently attached to the solar case, which can be easily folded out if required to place the panel on the ground at a sharp 45 degrees. This means that the module is fully assembled and ready for use within a minute. The angled orientation ensures an ideal solar yield. In combination with the low weight, the folding module with its compact dimensions and practical carrying handle is suitable for many different applications and is ready for use quickly and easily.

The professional connection kit supplied

The connection kit included in the scope of delivery contains everything you need to quickly commission the mobile solar module. It has a 6m connection cable with a high-quality Anderson plug connector at one end. A second 0.5 metre connection cable is also supplied, which is screwed directly to the solar input of your charge controller and is fitted with the corresponding Anderson plug on the other end. This allows you to connect or disconnect the controller at any time via the Anderson connectors without having to unscrew the cables from the charge controller.
A 1 metre long Plug&Play connection cable is also included for connecting the charge controller to your battery. This is screwed to the battery input of the controller and is equipped with universal crocodile clips on the battery side, which can be easily connected to all standard battery terminals. The battery cable also has a flat fuse holder with corresponding fuse.
The 6 metre connection cable can also be used to connect to a suitable power station (with integrated charge controller) using a suitable adapter. The cabling has protection class IP20. If MC4 plugs are crimped (on request), the protection class increases to the next possible part. (estimated at IP44)
