How does a balcony power plant work?
Ideally, the inverter is attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected to the solar module using the solar connector. The system is connected using the 5m AC connection cable and routed directly to the appropriate power outlet. No special settings are required to use the solar power generated in the home's power grid. If electricity from local sources is already available, household appliances use this first and then supplement it with mains electricity if necessary. The connected batteries store excess energy so that you can use your solar power even at night or when the sky is cloudy. The set therefore offers you an excellent opportunity to generate part of your household electricity yourself and thus significantly reduce your overall electricity costs.

Balcony power plants in Germany
There is currently no law or regulation in Germany governing the generation of solar power for purely personal use. The maximum limit of 600W AC PV power is a reserve value which, according to the current VDE standard, can be fed into an existing socket circuit in a house without overloading it. There are no specifications for independent circuits without additional load. All electrical installations should be carried out in accordance with VDE standards. However, the operation of a balcony power plant via a standard Schuko socket is not prohibited. Registration with the Federal Network Agency is mandatory. However, there are no known cases of fines for failure to register balcony power plants, nor are there any insurmountable problems with grid operators. Compliance with and implementation of standards and obligations is the responsibility of the plant operator.
