Two battery charging outputs

The Votronic 1722 MPP 360 CI solar charge controller has two battery charging outputs that enable automatic charging of the main supply battery (12V), as well as trickle charging and charge maintenance (max. 1 A) for the vehicle starter battery (Start) with built-in overcharge protection.

IU1oU2 charging characteristic

The "IU1oU2" charging characteristic of the Votronic MPP 360 CI solar charge controllera defined increase in charging voltage (U1) to prevent harmful acid stratification in lead batteries and ensures equalization charging of the individual battery cells (lead and lithium), followed by automatic maintenance charging (U2).

Switching output "AES"

The "AES" switching output enables refrigerators with "AES" (Automatic Energy Selector, Electrolux/Dometic) to automatically switch from gas to 12 V operation in the event of a sustained solar power surplus.
