Victron SmartShunt IP65 300A/50mV battery monitor

The intelligent SmartShunt IP65 300A from Victron Energy (MPNSHU065130050) is a versatile battery monitoring device that allows you to conveniently access all relevant battery data on your smartphone or via the VictronConnect appthis gives you access to important parameters such as the state of charge, remaining operating time, historical data, and much more at any time. Alternatively, you can connect the SmartShunt to a GX device, such as a Cerbo GX or Color Control GX, and read information from it. The connection is made via a VE.Direct cable. The waterproof battery monitor is also an excellent option for BMV battery monitoring. This is particularly useful in systems where battery monitoring is required but less cabling and clutter is desired.

Why monitor batteries?

Batteries are used in a wide range of applications, mostly to store energy for future use. However, the actual amount of energy stored cannot be read directly from the battery.
