Victron Inverter RS 48/6000 230V Smart Solar

The RS Smart Solar inverter from Victron Energy (MPN PIN482601000) is a combination of a powerful 48VDC, 6kVA 230VAC inverter and a high-voltage solar charger with 80-450 VDC, 4 kW MPPT. Thanks to its modern design and high-frequency technology, the inverter weighs only 11 kg and has excellent efficiency, low standby power consumption, and very quiet operation. The inverter generates a perfect sine wave that is capable of supplying high-power devices. It is powered by a bidirectional DC-DC converter that either charges the battery when excess solar energy is available or converts from the battery when needed.

The inverter is equipped with a display showing battery, inverter, and solar charger details. These parameters can also be read via Bluetooth from the VictronConnect app. In addition, the inverter has a VE.Direct and a VE.Can port for connection to a GX device for system monitoring.

Display and Bluetooth

The display reads the battery, inverter, and solar charge controller parameters. The same parameters can be accessed using a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device. In addition, Bluetooth can be used to set up the system and change settings using VictronConnect.
