DTU
The Hoymiles DTU (Data Transmission Unit) is a device that collects data and information from PV micro inverters via a wireless radio network and then sends it either via Ethernet or WiFi connection to the S-Miles Cloud or to the Hoymiles monitoring platform. The creation of the S-Miles account can only be done through the DTU dealer.
Power Meter
Hoymiles power meters are able to measure and display PV power supply, load consumption or export power thanks to their external current transformers. To obtain accurate readings, the meter must be installed at the output of the PV system. Only then is it able to accurately measure and monitor the energy production and consumption of the entire PV system.
