The LiFePO4 battery 25.6/100 with heating mat from Offgridtec (MPN 020725) is a state-of-the-art and efficient energy storage solution. With a capacity of 100Ah and a nominal voltage of 25.6V, it ensures both safety and outstanding performance. Thanks to its compact and maintenance-free design, the battery is easy to install and can also be flexibly integrated into individual energy storage systems via parallel connection. Equipped with an integrated battery management system (BMS), the battery is protected against overcharging, deep discharge, short circuits, and overheating. This not only extends the battery life, but also increases safety during operation. The powerful battery impresses with a service life of up to 5000 charging cycles, so you can benefit from a reliable power supply for a long time.
The battery also features an integrated heating mat, which ensures that it works optimally even at low temperatures. Advantages of the integrated heating mat
- Protection against damage during charging: LiFePO4 cells must not be charged below 0°C, otherwise lithium plating will occur. This causes permanent damage to the battery and can drastically shorten its service life.
- Maintenance of charging capacity: To enable charging even at cold temperatures, the heating mat warms the cells to a safe temperature.
- Optimizing performance: Cold temperatures reduce the usable capacity and power output of the battery. A heated battery can deliver more energy and operate more efficiently.
- Use in cold environments: Especially in motorhomes, off-grid systems, or electric vehicles, the battery is often exposed to sub-zero temperatures. An integrated heating mat ensures that the battery continues to function even in winter.

LiFePO4 technology
A LiFePO4 battery stands for "lithium iron phosphate battery" and is a type of lithium-ion battery. It is characterized by a specific chemical composition in which lithium iron phosphate is used as the cathode material.
