The Hoymiles HMS-400 (MPN: HMS-400-1T) is the ideal microinverter for your balcony power plant. Its light, compact weight (just 1.75 kg) means it can generate solar power of up to 320 to 540+W each. Like all Hoymiles microinverters, it is suitable for long operating hours and wide application of PV modules, as the start-up is very low (only 22V) and the DC input voltage range (16-60V) is very wide.
Compared with the previous model in the HM series, the HMS-400 is now 0.23 kg lighter and offers greater safety for rooftop solar power plants thanks to its quick disconnection and insulated transformer. The new sub-1G radio solution ensures more stable communication with the Hoymiles DTU gateway.

To be able to modify parameters in addition to monitoring, a DTU Pro-S is required instead of the DTU Lite.

Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power in ambient temperatures of up to +65°C (150°F). The microinverter housing is designed for outdoor installation and meets IP67 protection class.
Simple structure
Photovoltaic systems equipped with Hoymiles microinverters are very easy to plan. There is no need to install bulky conventional inverters. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting frame or directly under the PV module. The PV module is connected to the microinverter directly on site, so there is no risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
