The ARK high-voltage storage system from Growatt is flexible thanks to its modular design and can be expanded as needed. One battery tower can be built with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10 ARK high-voltage batteries. A BMS control unit and a connection cable set are included for commissioning with a compatible inverter. A battery base is available for floor installation. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can be easily combined with it.
The Growatt high-voltage battery system includes:
- ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery LiFePO4 2.56 kWh (2–10x depending on selection)
- BDC 95045-A1 BMS control unit
- Connection cable set ARK battery to inverter
- Battery base for floor installation

ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery
The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A2) is a LiFePO4 storage unit with high cycle stability and long service life. The modular, stackable concept enables flexible use for different scenarios and is easy to install. The battery delivers excellent performance under high loads and, with its IP65 rating, is also suitable for outdoor installation. A soft-start is used to prevent overvoltage in the system. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can be easily combined with it.

Soft-start to protect the system
The soft-start mechanism is a safety feature used in the Growatt battery to protect the system from overvoltage. When the battery starts up or is switched on, the power supply is increased gradually to prevent damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.
High cycle life
Growatt ARK battery modules are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems thanks to their extremely high cycle life and the use of LiFePO4 cells. Whether in a grid-tied or off-grid system, the Growatt storage offers numerous advantages compared to conventional lead-acid batteries and other lithium technologies.

BMS control unit
The Growatt BDC 95045-A1 BMS acts as the central monitoring and control unit within the ARK high-voltage battery system and supports communication with Growatt MIN and MOD-XH inverters. It enables the connection of up to 10 battery modules with an individual capacity of 2.56 kWh. These modules can be connected in series to form a battery tower with a total capacity of up to 25.64 kWh. Multiple storage towers can also be interconnected; one BMS is required per tower.

BMS control parameters
Control parameters include state of charge (SOC), mains voltage, current, cell voltage, cell temperature, and PCBA temperature measurement. By precisely monitoring these parameters, the BMS ensures optimal performance and battery longevity.
Flexible expansion
The Growatt ARK battery system offers high flexibility with expandable configurations ranging from 2.56 kWh to 25.6 kWh. Installation and expansion are straightforward thanks to the modular design and use of cables. Another innovation of the ARK system is that, unlike other battery systems, no battery cabinet is required. Only a battery base is needed for a stable stand.

ARK battery base
