The ARK high-voltage storage system from Growatt is flexible in use thanks to its modular design and can be expanded as required. A battery tower can be constructed with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 ARK high-voltage batteries. A BMS control unit and a connection cable set are included for commissioning with a compatible inverter. The battery base is also available as an option for floor installation. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be easily combined with it.

ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery
The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A2) is a LiFePO4 storage device with high cycle stability and a long service life. The modular, stackable design allows for flexible application in various scenarios and is easy to install. The battery offers excellent performance under high loads and, with its IP65 protection, is also suitable for outdoor installation. Soft start is used to prevent overvoltage in the system. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be easily combined with it.

Soft start to protect the system
The soft start mechanism is a protective function used in Growatt batteries to protect the system from power surges. When starting or switching on the battery, the power supply is gradually increased to protect the system from damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.

Growatt ARK battery modules are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems due to their extremely high cycle life and the use of LiFePo4 cells. BMS control unit
The Growatt HVC-60050-A1 BMS is a central monitoring and control unit that is part of the ARK HV high-voltage battery system and supports communication with Growatt SPA and SPH inverters. This BMS can connect up to 10 battery modules, each with a capacity of 2.56 kWh. These modules can be connected in series to form a battery tower with a total capacity of up to 25.64 kWh. Storage towers can also be connected to each other, with one BMS required per tower.

BMS control parameters
Control parameters include state of charge (SOC), grid voltage, current, cell voltage, cell temperature, and PCBA temperature measurement. By precisely monitoring these parameters, the BMS ensures optimal battery performance and longevity.
Flexible expansion
The ARK battery system from Growatt offers a high degree of flexibility thanks to its expandable configuration options, which range from 2.56 kWh to 25.6 kWh. The modular design and use of cables make installation and expansion of the system simple and straightforward. Another innovation of the ARK system is that, unlike other battery systems, it does not require a battery cabinet. Only a battery base is needed to ensure stability.

ARK battery base
