The Growatt ARK 2.5H-A2 high-voltage battery (MPN ARK-2.5H-A2) is a LiFePO4 storage device with high cycle stability and a long service life. The modular, stackable design allows for flexible use in various scenarios and is easy to install. The battery offers excellent performance under high loads and, with its IP65 protection, is also suitable for outdoor installation. Soft start is used to prevent overvoltage in the system. The A2 version is the successor to the previous ARK 2.5H-A1 and can also be combined with it without any problems.

The ARK battery system – versions A1 and A2 can be combined
Thanks to its modular design, the ARK system is flexible in use and can be expanded as required. A battery tower can be constructed with a minimum of 2 and up to 10 storage modules, and several towers can also be installed in one system. The new A2 version can be easily combined with the old A1 version. Each tower requires a BMS control element and a connection cable set to the corresponding inverter for operation. A battery base per tower is also required for floor installation.
The ARK high-voltage storage systems are compatible with the MIN and MOD-XH, as well as the three-phase SPH and SPA inverters. Depending on the inverter series, a different control unit, a different connection cable set, and a different starting number of batteries are required. The ARK-XH system starts with 2 batteries, while the ARK-HV system starts with 3 batteries.

Flexible expansion
The ARK battery system from Growatt offers a high degree of flexibility thanks to its expandable configuration options, which range from 5.12 kWh to 25.6 kWh. The modular design and use of cables make installation and expansion of the system simple and straightforward. Another innovation of the ARK system is that, unlike other battery systems, it does not require a battery cabinet. Only a battery base is needed to ensure stability.
Soft start to protect the system
The soft start mechanism is a protective function used in the Growatt battery to protect the system from power surges. When starting or switching on the battery, the power supply is gradually increased to protect the system from damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.
High cycle life
Growatt ARK battery modules are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems due to their extremely high cycle life and the use of LiFePo4 cells. Regardless of whether it is a grid-connected or stand-alone system, Growatt storage offers numerous advantages over conventional lead-acid batteries and other lithium technologies.
