The Growatt ark 2.5h-a1 high voltage battery (mpn ark-2.5H-A1) is a LiFePO4 storage device with high cycle stability and long lifetime. The modular, stackable design allows flexible application for different scenarios and is easy to install. The battery offers excellent high load performance and is also suitable for outdoor installation with its ip65 protection. To avoid overvoltages in the system, the soft start is used.

The ark battery system
Due to the modular concept, the ark system can be used flexibly and expanded as needed. A battery tower can be set up with at least 2 and up to 10 storage modules, several towers can also be installed in one system. For operation, one BMS control element is required per tower, as well as a connection cable set to the corresponding inverter. For ground installation, one battery base per tower is also required.
The ark high-voltage storage units are compatible with the min- and mod-xh, as well as the three-phase sph and SPA inverters. Depending on the inverter series, a different control unit, connection cable set, and starting number of batteries are required. The ark-XH system starts with 2, the ark-HV system again with 3 batteries.

Flexible expansion
Growatt's ark battery system offers high flexibility through its expandable configuration options, ranging from 5.12 kWh up to 25.6 kWh. Installation and expansion of the system is simple and straightforward due to its modular design and use of cables. Another innovation of the ark system is that, unlike other battery systems, no battery cabinet is required. Only a battery base is required for a stable stand.
Soft start to protect the system
The soft start mechanism is a protective feature used with the Growatt battery to protect the system from overvoltages. When the battery is started or turned on, the power supply is gradually increased to protect the system from damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.
High cycle life
Growatt ark battery modules are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems due to their extremely high cycle life and the use of LiFePo4 cells. Regardless of whether it is a grid-tied or off-grid system, Growatt storage offers numerous advantages over traditional lead-acid batteries and other lithium technologies.
