BCD Diode Coupler
Victron BCD diode-battery couplers are used to safely supply important DC consumers that must not switch off. For this purpose, the BCD diodes combine two DC sources, such as the service and system battery. If one source is not sufficient, the second power source is used to top up. BCD battery couplers are available in 40A and 80A versions.
