The device has a maximum charging current of 45A and efficiently charges lead-acid, lead-gel, lead-AGM, or LiFePO4 supply batteries from the alternator while driving. Unlike conventional isolating relays, the charging voltage is adjusted for long cables or small cross-sections to minimize losses.
