Victron VE.Direct TX digital output cable

The Victron VE.Direct TX Digital Output Cable (MPN ASS03055050) can be used in combination with SmartSolar or BlueSolar MPPT solar chargers. The cable is connected between the VE.Direct port of the solar charger and an LED driver, BatteryProtect, or energy meter. The cable can significantly reduce energy consumption and system costs by dimming your lighting to be brighter or dimmer depending on the ambient light level.
The VE.Direct TX cable optimizes energy consumption in solar lighting applications by dimming lamps and enables control of a BatteryProtect or relay for a virtual load output on solar chargers without their own output. In addition, it transmits pulses to an energy meter when 0.01 kWh of solar power is generated. The versatile cable also adds a load output to larger solar chargers, improving operating costs and increasing light availability, even when the battery is partially charged due to unfavorable weather conditions.
