The Victron Quattro 48/15000/200-100/100 230V VE.Bus (MPN: QUA483150000) combines a high-performance sine wave inverter, a battery charger, and an automatic transfer switch in a compact housing. With two AC inputs, the Quattro allows two independent power sources to be connected, while immediately taking over the supply to the connected devices in the event of a failure of the external power supply - ideal for emergency power applications.
In addition, the Quattro allows for convenient parallel connection, so that up to six units can be combined to achieve a considerable output of up to 162 kW. Additional features such as PowerControl and PowerAssist technologies optimize power supply and expand the possible uses of on-board generators and shore power connections.

Two AC inputs and outputs
The Quattro allows connection to two separate AC sources, for example the public grid and a generator, or two generators. It automatically connects to the active source.
The main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a grid failure or interruption of the connection to the mains or generator power, the Quattro immediately takes over the power supply to the connected loads. This switchover takes place in less than 20 milliseconds, ensuring continuous operation of computers and other electronic devices.
The second output only supplies power when AC power is available at one of the Quattro's inputs. It is particularly suitable for loads that must not be allowed to discharge the battery, such as water heaters.
Three-phase operation
It is possible to operate three units in a three-phase configuration. In addition, by connecting up to four sets of three 15 kVA units in parallel, an inverter power of 144 kW/180 kVA or a charging current of 2400 A can be achieved.
PowerAssist
This function expands the capabilities of the PowerControl principle, as the Quattro can support an insufficient alternative energy source. Load peaks are often only temporary. In such cases, the Quattro ensures that insufficient mains or generator power is immediately compensated for by energy from the battery. When the load is reduced, for example by switching off consumers, the energy that is then available again can be used to charge the batteries.
PowerControl
The Quattro acts as a powerful battery charger that requires significant amounts of power from generators or shore power supplies (16 A per 5 kVA Quattro at 230 VAC). A current limit can be set on each of the AC inputs. The Quattro adjusts its charging requirements accordingly and only uses the remaining power available for connected AC consumers. This prevents overloading of the generator or mains connection.
Intuitive monitoring and control
Compatibility with the Victron Smart Feature App enables user-friendly monitoring and control of the system from mobile devices. This allows you to track energy consumption in real time and make adjustments to maximize efficiency.
