The Victron Phoenix 48/500VE.Direct (MPN PIN481501100) is a small sine wave inverter with 400W continuous power. The device converts 48V DC voltage from your battery into 230V AC alternating current with a pure sine wave and uncompromising power quality, which is also ideal for sensitive electronic products. The Phoenix has excellent efficiency and, thanks to its ECO mode, is one of the highest in its class. Using the VE.Direct communication port, you can connect the device to a computer or smartphone with optional accessories and freely program several system parameters, such as the shutdown voltage and restart voltage when the battery is empty! Many other configuration options, such as output frequency and output voltage, as well as a 2-pole alarm contact, are among the performance features of this voltage converter.

  • VE.Direct connection allows you to connect the power converter to a computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable required) or your smartphone, where you can keep an eye on the status of your device at all times with the free Victron app (VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle required).
  • Fully programmable parameters: Threshold values for triggering and resetting alarms when the battery charge level is low + Threshold values for switching off and restarting when battery voltage values are low + Output voltage 210 - 245V + Threshold values for shutdown and restart at low battery voltage values + Frequency 50 Hz or 60 Hz + Threshold value for ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sensor
  • ECO mode integrated: In ECO mode, the inverter switches to standby as soon as the load falls below a preset value. In standby mode, the inverter then switches on for a short period of time (adjustable default setting: every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset threshold value, the inverter remains switched on.

Proven reliability of the power converter: The complete bypass, supplemented by a ring transformer topology, has proven itself over many years. The inverters are short-circuit-proof and protected against overheating (whether caused by overload or the ambient temperature).
High switch-on power: This is required to switch on loads such as voltage converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or power tools.
Remote-controlled on/off switching possible: A remote-controlled on/off switch can be connected with a two-pole plug or between the positive pole of the battery and the left contact of the two-pole plug.
