Victron MultiPlus 24/500/10-16 230V
Shipped in 10-14 Werktage
The MultiPlus 24/500/10 (CMP245010000) from Victron Energy is a version of the successful MultiPlus series and delivers 430W continuous power at 230V and 50Hz. In addition to the sine wave inverter, which converts the 24V DC voltage of your battery into a perfect 230V AC 50Hz sine wave voltage, the Multi 500 is also equipped with a 10A battery charger and a 16A transfer switch. This makes it very interesting for a wide range of applications, and at a comparatively very affordable price.
key features of the MultiPlus 24/500/10
- 430W continuous power and 900W peak power for 24V battery voltage
- Device combination: sine wave voltage converter, 16A transfer switch, and 10A battery charger
- delivers pure 230V sine wave voltage and a clean 50Hz frequency
- can be used as a UPS solution for uninterruptible power supply thanks to transfer switch
- can be used for grid-connected self-consumption systems that only draw power from the grid operator when the battery capacity is no longer sufficient or other programmable events have occurred
- programmable relay
- proven quality and reliability
- offers solid protection against overload and overheating
- versatile use in mobile and stationary applications
- can also be used for highly sensitive electrical devices
- can be used in UPS solutions
programmable relay
The MultiPlus 24/500/10 has a programmable multifunction relay that operates as an alarm relay in its default setting. However, this relay can be programmed for a variety of additional functions, such as a start relay for a generator.
Control and remote control
Configuration is carried out via a 3-position switch (DIP switch) directly on the MultiPlus. The maximum charging current of the AC input can be set. A VE.Bus or other communication connections, as found on the MultiPlus series, have been omitted.
lightning-fast, automatic 16A transfer switch
In the event of a power failure or when the generator is switched off, MultiPlus immediately switches to inverter mode and supplies the connected loads. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices continue to operate without interruption (uninterruptible power supply – UPS functionality).
powerful, 4-stage battery charger
Adaptive 4-stage charging characteristic: Constant current ("bulk") phase, constant voltage ("absorption") phase, charge maintenance voltage ("float") phase, storage voltage ("storage") phase
The microprocessor-controlled battery charging system can be adapted to different battery types. The charging process is adjusted via adaptive control of battery usage.
other highlights of the built-in charger include:
- variable constant voltage time
- 2 DC outputs for charging the on-board and starter batteries
- Extended battery life through temperature compensation
- less battery aging through integrated storage mode
- less harmful gas formation thanks to battery protection mode
For a detailed description of the charger's features, please refer to the operating instructions, which can be found under "Downloads" above.
Backup system: AC power even during a power failure
The MultiPlus 500 can be used in off-grid applications as well as in grid-connected PV systems and alternative energy systems. Software for detecting a power failure is available.
