The modular MEGA-Fuse fuse holder from Victron Energy (MPN CIP100200100) with cover is used for the safe installation of DC MEGA-Fuse strip fuses together with up to 5 additional fuses on a common busbar. This solution is ideal for protecting parallel-connected Multiplus or Quattro inverters or inverters from other manufacturers. The fuse holders can be connected to each other so that all fuse holders are firmly anchored in position on the busbar. (see image)
The housing provides solid protection for the fuse against external influences. There are currently two busbar versions that can be used with the modular holder:
Victron Busbar 5 CIP100400060 – for 5 holders of type CIP100200100, max 500A
Victron Busbar 6 CIP100400070 – for 6 holders of type CIP100200100, max 2000A

about the MEGA fuse
MEGA-Fuse type fuses are strip fuses and are screwed onto the holder to ensure optimum contact. The corresponding nuts and snap rings are already pre-mounted on the holder.
MEGA fuses can be used to protect up to 500A at 32V DC. The 58V versions can protect up to 300A.
