Although Victron's LFP batteries are more expensive compared to AGM or GEL batteries, the higher purchase costs will often pay off. With a lifespan of up to 5000 cycles, they far exceed the maximum lifespan of even the best lead-acid batteries. Additionally, the LFP 12.8/200 stands out with a 70% reduction in space and weight. The energy utilization rate of 92% is significantly higher than the 80% of lead-acid batteries, which is crucial for off-grid systems, especially in standalone solar and/or wind power setups.
Versatile: Infinite Flexibility with Victron Energy Lithium Technology
Victron's LFP lithium batteries can be integrated into almost all common applications. In the mobile sector, this technology has long played a significant role. Thanks to the fact that these batteries are much easier to charge than traditional lead-acid batteries and can withstand irregular charging, they are also making their way into land-based applications and are now found in almost all system classes.
Parallel and Series Connection up to 3000Ah at 48V
Thanks to the integrated cell balancing and cell monitoring function, you can conveniently connect up to 10 batteries of this type in parallel and up to four 10-battery blocks in series, resulting in a maximum of 3000Ah at 48V – equivalent to a maximum storable nominal energy of approximately 154,000Wh.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The use of an additional BMS is mandatory to disconnect or shut down the load when the voltage of a battery cell drops below 2.5V, to stop the charging process when the voltage of a battery cell exceeds 4.2V, and to shut down the system when the cell temperature exceeds 50°C.
