The Victron EM540 electricity meter (MPN REL200100100) is designed to monitor three-phase operating modes, such as PV inverters, AC generators, or inverters. This allows you to measure the power and energy of the entire system as a direct measurement in the distribution box. Compared to the EM24, the Victron EM540 uses a higher sampling rate. It is suitable as a supplement to a Victron inverter/charger.
The device offers two options for connecting to a GX device:
- Cable connection via RS485-to-USB interface with a cable length of 1.8 m or 5 m
- wireless connection via ZigBee-to-USB and ZigBee-to-RS485 converters
