The Energy Meter EM24 from Victron Energy (MPN REL200200100) is a three-phase energy meter with a maximum of 65A per phase. It is used in the house connection/meter box to measure the power on all three phases.
The energy meter can be used as:
- A grid meter and is used as a control input for an ESS system
- A measuring device for the power of a PV inverter
- A measuring device for the power of an AC generator
For all of the above uses, the meter should be connected to the local network in such a way that the GX device can reach it.
Note on GX firmware versions
To support Ethernet EM24 measuring devices, Venus 2.60 is the minimum firmware required on the GX device.
