Battery Life Algorithm helps increase battery life

If the solar charge controller is unable to charge the battery to its full capacity within a day, the battery status constantly switches back and forth between "partially charged" and "end of discharge." This operating mode (no regular) is ideal for small lead batteries, but with lead-acid batteries in particular, such irregular charging and discharging can cause damage to the battery after just a few months and significantly shorten its service life

The Battery Life Algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and, if necessary, raises the threshold value for disconnecting the load day by day (i.e., the load is disconnected earlier) until the energy gained is sufficient to charge the battery to almost 100%. From this point on, the threshold value for disconnecting the load is modulated so that the charge reaches almost 100% about once a week.
