BMV 700 Battery Monitor

Precise monitoring
The main task of battery monitoring is to record the ampere hours consumed and the current battery charge status. The ampere hours are determined by integrating the current flow into and out of the battery. At constant current, the integration corresponds to the multiplication of current and time. For example, a discharge current of 10A over 2 hours results in a value of 20Ah. Victron battery monitors are equipped with powerful microprocessors programmed for specific tasks.

Battery "fuel gauge," remaining capacity indicator, and much more
The remaining battery capacity depends on the ampere hours consumed, the discharge current, the
Temperature, and the age of the battery. Complex software algorithms are required to take all these
Variables.
In addition to the basic display options such as voltage, current, and ampere-hours consumed
Ampere hours, the BMV-700 series also displays the state of charge, remaining runtime, and power consumption in
Watts.

Easy installation
All electrical connections are made to the power shunt using the PCB connector
. The shunt is connected to the monitor via a standard RJ12 telephone cable
Included in delivery: RJ 12 cable (10 m) and battery cable with fuse (2 m); no other
Components are required.

A separate front panel for a square or round display, a safety ring
for rear mounting, and screws for front mounting.

Easy programming
A quick installation menu and a detailed setup menu with scrolling assist the user in
making the various settings. Please refer to the manual for further details.
