Victron 40A single-current sensor 1-phase CSE000100000
Shipped in 1-3 days
The AC current sensor from Victron Energy (mpn cse000100000) is a simple external current sensor for max. 40a input current. It is used to measure AC current, power (va) and calculate energy (kWh) of a PV inverter. The sensor is connected to the AC input or output of a Multi or Quattro. The values can then be displayed and sent from the color control to the VRM website or a gx device. The two measuring cables can be connected to the aux and / or temperature detection input of a Multi or Quattro.
Multi and Quattro hardware requirements
- The Multi or Quattro must have the new microprocessor: make sure that the 7-digit firmware version number indicated on the microprocessor starts with 26 or 27
- The TEMP-Sense input on all Multi and Quattro is suitable for the AC sensor
- On Multiplus II hardware version 0 to 8, the aux input is located on the RJ12 connector, pins 1 and 5. In later versions, the aux input is available again as a normal connector
- The Multi or Quattro must be connected to the VE.Bus connector of the Color Control gx: The display will not work if the VE.Can connector is connected via a VE.Bus to VE.Can interface cable.
Installation
- Pull one of the PV inverter AC cables through the AC sensor
- Connect the sensor to the aux or TEMP sensor input of an inverter, Multi or Quattro, in the same phase in which it is measured by this current sensor
- Configure the power range using the DIP switches. Select a power equal to or higher than the maximum expected power. For example, for a 4kW PV installation, the correct DIP switch setting is 5kW
- Multi-phase installations: Add an AC sensor for each phase of the PV inverter. Wire it in the same phase with the multi
