SolaX X3-PRO-12K-G2 12 kW grid-connected string inverter, 3-phase
Soon available again
The 3-phase X3‑PRO-12K-G2 from SolaX (MPN: 1030090047) is a grid-connected string inverter with a nominal AC power of 12 kW, which can be used flexibly for residential and commercial buildings. You control the feed-in via integrated export power limitation in accordance with the grid and use intelligent load management to supply consumers such as heat pumps or wall boxes according to demand. It supports 150% DC oversizing and 110% AC overload, allowing you to maximize your PV yield even during peak loads and fluctuating irradiation. With 32 A per MPP tracker, global MPP scan, and a wide MPPT voltage range, it quickly and stably finds the optimal operating point, which brings additional kilowatt hours, especially with east/west orientations, partial shading, and low sunlight.

Integrated export power control function
This ensures that only the permitted amount of electricity is fed into the public grid, down to zero feed-in. A SolaX Energy Meter measures your home consumption in real time, and the inverter automatically adjusts its output. Self-consumption comes first, and feed-in limits such as 70% or a fixed kW value are reliably adhered to. External controllers are not necessary; what is important is the correct installation of the electricity meter and the appropriate country or grid configuration in the device.
Advanced DSP control technology
This means that a digital signal processor in the X3-PRO-G2 monitors and controls the power electronics in real time. It reacts very quickly to changing conditions, optimizes the MPP, keeps the output voltage clean and efficient, and implements grid specifications precisely. For you, this means the following: higher yield, high efficiency, quiet operation, and reliable protection in the event of faults.
150% DC oversizing, 110% AC power
150% DC oversizing means that you can connect 1.5 times more module power to the PV input than the inverter's AC rated power. This increases the yield in low light conditions. Power peaks are then "clipped" to the inverter limit if necessary. 110% AC overload output means that the inverter can feed in up to approx. 13.2 kW (at 12 kW AC rated power) for a short time. It is crucial to observe the MPPT limits for voltage, input current, and short-circuit current (including Voc at lowest temperatures) as well as thermal conditions and grid specifications.
Integrated global MPP scan
The inverter automatically checks the entire permissible voltage range of your PV strings and selects the best operating point. This prevents yield losses due to partial shading, different orientations, or soiling and reliably increases the power yield. The scan runs automatically at defined intervals (e.g., at startup) and can slightly change the power output for a short time—no additional hardware is required.
Intelligent load management
This automatically and efficiently controls your household electricity consumption. The system continuously monitors how much electricity is currently being consumed and how much solar energy is being generated. It can activate large consumers such as heat pumps or charging stations for electric cars specifically when a particularly large amount of solar power is available. This allows you to make optimal use of the electricity you generate yourself and reduce your consumption of expensive grid electricity. At the same time, intelligent load management helps to avoid power peaks and make sensible use of the battery. For you, this means that your energy consumption is automatically adjusted so that you save costs and your solar system is used as efficiently as possible at all times – without any additional effort.
Parallel connection
The series inverter is parallel-capable. You can connect several devices to one system and control the feed-in together, right down to zero feed-in. A SolaX meter installed in the main circuit (at the grid connection point) measures the energy flow, and the inverters regulate their output synchronously. The connection can be made either via Modbus or the DataHub (sold separately). Please observe the wiring diagrams specified by the manufacturer and ensure correct cabling and addressing.
Protection and safety
- AFCI - Optional
- Anti-islanding protection
- DC reverse polarity protection
- insulation monitoring
- Residual current monitoring
- overheating protection
- AC overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, overvoltage protection
Arc fault detection (AFCI) - optional
If your PV modules, connectors, or cables are incorrectly installed or damaged, arcing can occur, which can cause fires. To quickly prevent such fires, SolaX has developed optional arc detection. This feature can be installed and provides a higher level of safety for you and your PV system.
SolaXCloud
SolaXCloud is an intelligent platform for managing your home energy. It provides you with a clear overview of your energy consumption and power generation, as well as easy control of all connected devices. This allows you to optimize the efficiency of your power consumption and get the most out of your solar system. Your data is transmitted securely and reliably at all times. With the Monitoring Cloud app, you can conveniently monitor your photovoltaic system via Wi-Fi, LAN, or 4G. You can view alarms, adjust settings, and control maintenance. To do this, plug the dongle into the USB port of the inverter. Once switched on, you can connect to the app immediately. You will find the QR code for downloading the app in the user manual.
