Offgridtec Backup Kit 7kWh Pylontech LiFePO4 Battery - Victron MultiPlus II 48/5000 Inverter 1-Phase

Offgridtec backup systems are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. In addition to lithium-ion batteries from Pylontech, the systems include a matching MultiPlus-II inverter and a Cerbo GX MK2 for system monitoring from Victron Energy. This allows you to ensure your energy supply even in the event of a power failure.

Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus remains switched on even in the event of a mains failure and takes over the supply to the connected consumers. The switchover is so fast (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices can be guaranteed.

The Multiplus device combination is preconfigured to be compatible with Pylontech batteries.

Extended use of your backup system

In order to set up an ESS (Energy Storage System) with the backup system, an energy meter with connection cable is required:

• Victron VM-3P75CT Energy Meter 3-phase electricity meter 75A/phase
• 5m Victron RJ45 UTP cable

With this electricity meter, you can set up a grid-parallel installation and then monitor your energy consumption or control your energy coststhanks to phase compensation, you can also operate the 3-phase meter for 1-phase systems. This makes seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and consumers into the existing power grid no problem at all.

In order for an ESS to be included in the preconfiguration, the meter must be purchased in advance or with the system!

The US3000C storage unit is a latest-generation lithium battery. It was specially designed to meet the high demands placed on backup storage. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, maximum safety and a long service life are guaranteed, even with regular deep discharges.

The Multiplus-II is a high-end device combination from Victron Energy, consisting of a 48V battery charger, inverter, and transfer switch. This combination combines the classic Multiplus components with an external current sensor and integrated anti-islanding function. This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50A and expands the potential range of applications to include energy storage systems. The Multiplus is therefore ideal for use as a backup device in grid-connected and off-grid systems for power supply.
