Offgridtec Backup Kit 5.12kWh Pytes V5a Battery - Victron MultiPlus II 48/3000 Inverter 1-Phase

Offgridtec's single-phase backup systems are ideal for emergency power supply or for expanding an existing solar system. In addition to lithium-ion batteries from Pytes, the systems include matching MultiPlus-II inverters and a Cerbo GX MK2 from Victron Energy for system monitoring. This allows you to ensure your energy supply even in the event of a power failure.

With Pytes batteries, you have a storage capacity of 5.12kWh to 10.24kWh to use your energy efficiently and remain self-sufficient for longer if necessary. Thanks to the UPS function, the MultiPlus remains switched on even in the event of a mains failure and takes over the supply to the connected consumers. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices can be guaranteed.

The Multiplus device combination is preconfigured to be compatible with Pytes batteries.

Extended use of your backup system

The backup kit is available with or without a Victron electricity meter and cable, although an energy meter is required to set up an energy storage system.

With this electricity meter, you can set up a grid-parallel installation and then monitor your energy consumption and control your energy coststhanks to phase compensation, you can even use the 3-phase meter for 1-phase systems. This makes seamless integration of decentralized energy sources and consumers into the existing power grid no problem at all.

In order for an ESS to be included in the preconfiguration, the meter must be purchased in advance or with the system!

The electronic core – the Victron Multiplus-II device combination

The Multiplus-II is a high-end device combination from Victron Energy, consisting of a 48V battery charger, inverter, and transfer switch. This combination combines the classic Multiplus components with an external current sensor and integrated anti-islanding function. This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50A and expands the potential range of applications to include energy storage systems. The Multiplus is therefore ideal for use as a backup device in grid-connected and off-grid systems for power supply.
