Kemo M120 infrared spotlight for CCD cameras
Shipped in 1-3 days
With the Kemo M120 infrared spotlight, objects are visible to CCD cameras even in complete darkness. Infrared light is invisible to humans, but CCD cameras can see well with an infrared spotlight. Ideal for "discreet" observation of house entrances, driveways, etc.
Note on operation
CCD cameras have different sensitivities. Therefore, the range of the infrared spotlight may vary depending on the sensitivity of the camera. This infrared spotlight should only be used in complete darkness, without any external light influence. Reason: many cameras have a light sensor that regulates the sensitivity of the camera depending on the brightness of the day. This light sensor responds primarily to visible light. If there is another, weak light source (candle, monitor screen, etc.), the sensor immediately reduces the sensitivity of the camera and you will have the impression that the spotlight has almost no effect.
Technical data
- Operating voltage: 12-15 V/DC
- Current consumption: <300mA
- Range: approx. 5 m
- Wavelength: approx. 875 nm
- Dimensions: approx. 72 x 50 x 18 mm (with LEDs)
Commissioning:
The infrared spotlight must be mounted in a weather-protected location. Either a 12 V/DC battery or a stabilized power supply with an output voltage between 12-15 V/DC is suitable for operation. The power supply must have a power rating of at least 300mA. The spotlight achieves its maximum performance at an operating voltage between 12 and 15 V/DC. If the operating voltage is too low, the performance of the spotlight will be significantly reduced. If the operating voltage is too high (>15 V/DC), the device will generate too much heat and may become defective.
