Hybrid inverter
In contrast to conventional inverters, hybrid inverters can not only feed the electricity generated by the Solarasystem into the power grid, but also store it in batteries. This means that solar power is also available when the sun is not shining. Another feature of hybrid inverters is their ability to optimize a household's electricity consumption by preferring to use the solar power directly in the household before it is fed into the grid.
Active safety with afci function
With an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter is an arc fault protection device. It protects circuits in the event of arcing faults and acts as a circuit breaker against contact faults in low-voltage installations. I n addition to providing protection, it analyses current and voltage curves using digital signal processing and interrupts circuits in the event of fault signatures. afci is also known colloquially as a fire protection switch, as overheating at poor contact points or flashovers between two conductors can be prevented by emitted signals.
Two MPP trackers for optimum solar yields
Maximum Power Point Tracker technology is used to generate the best possible yield from a Solarasystem. The mppt determines the optimum ratio between irradiance, module temperature and solar cell type over the course of the day. The two MPP trackers in the mid-Inverter allow the optimum operating point for the two PV strings to be optimized separately. The two trackers work independently of each other and so, for example, shading on one string would have no effect on the second.
Operating modes - configurable according to system requirements
- Working mode: When the grid connection requirements are met - the DC voltage is greater than 200v and the grid voltage and frequency are within the permissible range, the inverter will convert the DC power generated by the solar panels into AC power and feed it into the grid with the green LED indicator. If the DC voltage drops below 160v, the inverter will automatically disconnect from the grid and exit operating mode. It will automatically return to operating mode and reconnect to the grid as soon as the requirements are met.
- Fault mode: If an unexpected situation occurs, such as a system failure or an inverter failure, the inverter will display the error message on the screen. In error mode, the leaf-shaped indicator will light up red and the inverter will be disconnected from the grid.
- Shutdown mode: If the PV power is insufficient or no PV power is generated, the inverter will automatically shut down. In shutdown mode, the inverter does not consume any energy from the grid or the solar panels and the display and indicators are switched off.
AC&DC type ii spd
AC and dc type ii spds (Surge Protective Devices) protect grid inverters from overvoltages and are an important component for the safety and reliability of Solarasystems. AC spds protect the AC side and dc spds protect the DC side of the inverter. These protective devices discharge excess voltage pulses that can be caused by lightning strikes, switching operations in the power grid or other events.
