Shipped in 2-5 days
With thisGrowatt Balcony power station (mpn 020105), we present you with the ideal solution for generating part of your household electricity yourself and significantly reducing your overall electricity costs. The system includes two powerful 430w solar modules, the compact neo 800m-x micro inverter and all accessories for an uncomplicated connection of all components. With the WiFi function integrated in the micro inverter, you can monitor your system effortlessly.
You can also choose between 1 to 4 Noah2000 battery modules from Growatt to store the electricity generated. This allows you to achieve a total capacity of up to 8192Wh. The system stores excess energy in the battery during the day and then makes it available whenever you need it to increase the efficiency of solar power use.
Why a balcony power plant with storage?
- Produce electricity cost-effectively
- Cover your own needs during the day
- Store electricity for the night or times with little sunlight
- Quickly amortizing investment
- Plug and play - plug in and save money
The balcony power station contains:
- 2x Luxen Solar 430w TopCon bifacial solar module
- 1x Growatt neo 800m-x 800w micro inverter
- 1-4x Noah2000 2048Wh LiFePO4(selectable)
- 1x Growatt neo 800-m-x 5m ac connection cable
- 2x Offgridtec 3m 6mm² MC-4 connection cable
How does a balcony power station work?
Ideally, the inverter is attached directly to the substructure of the solar module and connected to the solar connector on the solar module. The system is connected with the 5m ac connection cable and routed directly to the appropriate socket. No special settings are required to use the solar power generated in the domestic power grid. If electricity is already available from local sources, the appliances in the household use this first and then supplement with mains power as required. The connected batteries store surplus energy so that you can also use your solar power at night or when it is cloudy. The set therefore offers you an excellent opportunity to generate some of the household electricity you need yourself, thereby significantly reducing your overall electricity costs.

Balcony power stations in Germany
There is currently no law or regulation in Germany governing the generation of solar power for purely domestic use. The maximum limit of 600w ac PV power is a reserve value which, according to the current VDE standard, can be fed into an existing socket circuit of a house without overloading it. Nothing is described for independent circuits without additional load. Every electrical installation should be VDE-compliant. However, operating a balcony power station via the standard earthed socket is not prohibited. Registration with the Federal Network Agency is mandatory. However, there are no known cases of fines for non-registration of balcony power stations or insurmountable problems with network operators. Compliance with and implementation of standards and obligations is the responsibility of the system operator. A great deal of technical and legal information can already be found on relevant websites.
