With the go-e Controller (MPN: CH-30-01), you can charge your electric car or plug-in hybrid even more cost-effectively, safely, and environmentally friendly in combination with a go-e Charger. You can maximize the use of your surplus PV electricity by using it directly for the wallbox. This increases your self-consumption and gets the most out of your PV system. Dynamic load management ensures that your house connection is not overloaded. When load peaks are detected, it automatically adjusts the charging power for the electric cars and plug-in hybrids connected to the charging stations and increases it again as soon as possibleit is compatible with all go-e wallboxes (Gemini, Gemini 2.0, PRO, and HOME series), all PV inverters, and AC battery storage systems. Both single-phase and three-phase connection of the controller is possible. In addition, you can easily and conveniently operate and monitor all parameters via the app.

The controller gives you full control over the energy flows in your building. It allows you to control the charging processes of your electric car in conjunction with go-e wallboxes based on the position of the sun and the current power demand. You can also use it to monitor other household appliances such as heat pumps, air conditioning systems, or saunas, allowing you to keep track of everything at all times. It is suitable for both single-phase and three-phase operation. In three-phase power grids, you can monitor three additional devices, such as PV inverters, AC battery storage, and heat pumps. In single-phase power grids, up to five additional devices are possible. This makes your energy management simple and smart.

Optimize your self-consumption

Use surplus solar energy to efficiently charge the batteries of your electric vehicles via one or more chargers. If your PV system produces more energy than your household appliances need, you can maximize your self-consumption with this intelligent charging method. No special measurement of PV production is required for PV surplus charging and dynamic load management. Self-consumption is accurately displayed by direct measurement at the AC connection of the inverter. Direct communication with the PV system is not necessary. If you have a battery storage system, this is also taken into account, provided it can be measured at the AC connection. However, direct measurement of battery power is not possible with hybrid inverters with DC battery connection.

Automatic phase switching

As soon as your PV system generates at least 1.4 kW of surplus energy, the controller sends this information to the go-e Charger, which then takes over the charging process with the surplus PV power.It automatically switches between single-phase and three-phase charging, depending on how much power is available. This allows you to maximize your self-consumption even when PV production is low. As soon as your PV system generates enough surplus, the controller seamlessly switches to three-phase charging.

Dynamic load management

To avoid power outages, a reliable load management system is essential when charging electric carsthe charging stations already have static load management that takes into account the maximum available power of your building when charging several electric cars at the same time. However, you must allow for a buffer for other power consumers in the household. The go-e controller offers you an even smarter solution with dynamic load management. It automatically adjusts the charging power of the connected wallboxes when many power consumers are active at the same time. This ensures that your household appliances and charging stations never consume more power than your house connection can handle – completely automatically.

Control everything conveniently via the app

Configure your solar energy settings conveniently from your couch using the go-e app. The app gives you access to all of the controller's settings, which you can customize to suit your needs, whether for dynamic load management or the power consumption in your building. This means you always have everything in view and under control. Once the controller is connected via Wi-Fi or LAN, charging your electric vehicle becomes even easier, safer, more cost-effective, and more sustainable.

Do you have programming skills? Then enjoy even more control when charging your electric vehicle! The controller offers you additional interfaces such as a local HTTP API, Modbus TCP, and MQTT.
