With the 10L caravan water boiler from Fothermo (MPN 1004-CPVB-10), you can generate hot water sustainably and cost-effectively using solar power. This smart boiler uses energy directly from photovoltaic modules or a battery and does not require a 230V mains connection. Connecting solar modules and batteries is child's play and takes just a few seconds. The water connection is made via a practical 1/2" standard thread, and installation is extremely straightforward thanks to the well-thought-out design – no specialist knowledge required. Easy installation

Two mounting rails ensure stable attachment, regardless of whether the boiler is mounted on the wall or on the vehicle floor.

Innovative technology

The boiler offers excellent connection options for 12V/24V battery and solar modules and supports a photovoltaic connection power of up to 1500Wp (modules in parallel). We recommend connecting a 100-300Wp solar module with a maximum open-circuit voltage of 42.4 V. An innovative MPP tracker is integrated to ensure maximum photovoltaic yield.

In addition, the boiler has a battery connection for connecting to a battery; the Fothermo battery cable is required for this. It automatically detects whether a 12V or 24V battery is connected and adjusts accordingly. This enables the boiler to operate intelligently on battery power, using surplus energy or reheating the water from the on-board battery. It also independently identifies whether the battery is a LiFePO4 or lead-acid battery.

Two digital displays

You can check the current water temperature, heating power, and total amount of energy ever fed in at any time on the boiler. A second display with a 5-meter cable allows you to check the temperature from anywhere in the caravan. A small integrated battery ensures that the displays are clearly visible even at night.

Up to 25 liters of hot water

The photovoltaic caravan boiler heats the water to up to 65°C and then switches off automatically. For showering, the hot water is mixed with cooler water in a standard shower fitting. This allows up to 25 liters of water with a temperature of 35°C to be used, which is easily enough for two people with a water-saving shower head.
