PERC technology

PERC stands for "Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell." What sounds complicated is actually as simple as it is ingenious: In normal solar cells, a small portion of sunlight, namely red light, always passes through the cell unused. PERC technology, on the other hand, uses a layer on the back of the cell to reflect this unused sunlightthis technology helps the solar cell achieve a higher efficiency. The system can benefit from the PERC effect especially when the light tends to be red, i.e., in the morning and evening.

ETFE coating

The front of the solar panel is covered with a high-tech plastic layer based on ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE), which offers excellent protection against harmful environmental influences and is also suitable for use in salt water. ETFE is lighter and more translucent than other plastic solutions on the market.
