The Luxpower 450w Full Black solar module (lnvk-450m) of the Series 5 from Luxen Solaris the successor to the 450w Luxen Series 4 solar module (LNSU-450Mthe Luxpower module utilizes advanced monocrystalline technology with a gallium-doped structure and a 120 half-cell layout. It offers excellent anti-pid performance, three integrated by-pass diodes and a two-part arrangement of the cell strings. This ensures high hot-spot resistance in single use and reliable current output in strings with many modules, even under unfavorable lighting conditions or partial shading. Its elegant full-black design makes it the ideal choice for Solaranstallations on residential buildings, balcony power plants and many other applications.

Gallium-doped technology
Gallium doping is a proven method of preventing light-induced degradation (lid) in solar cells and PV modules. The integration of this technology undoubtedly leads to increased cell performance and improved long-term stability and reliability.
Reduced hot-spot temperature
By halving the electrical current of both the cells and the cell strings, the hot-spot temperature can be reduced by 50 %, which increases the reliability of the PV module.
25% reduced thermal power loss
By using halved cells with half the working current, the thermal power loss of the PV module during operation is reduced by a considerable 25%. This results in a lower operating temperature of the PV module, which in turn increases reliability and improves overall performance.
pid resistance
pid stands for "Potential Induced Degradation". It describes a process in which solar cells can lose power due to electrical stresses between the cells. pid can affect the performance of solar modules over time, so pid resistance - i.e. resistance to this degradation process - is an important factor in the longevity and efficiency of Solarasystems.
