The ark high-voltage storage system from Growatt can be used flexibly thanks to its modular concept and can be expanded as required. A battery tower can be set up with a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 10 ark high-voltage batteries. A bms control unit and a connection cable set are included for commissioning with a compatible inverter. The battery base is also available as an option for ground installation.

The Growatt ark 2.5h-a1 high-voltage battery (mpn ark-2.5h-a1) is a LiFePO4 storage system with high cycle stability and a long service life. The modular, stackable concept enables flexible application for different scenarios and is easy to install. The battery offers excellent performance under high loads and is also suitable for outdoor installation with its ip65 protection. The soft start is used to prevent overvoltage in the system.

Soft start to protect the system
The soft start mechanism is a protective function that is used with the Growatt battery to protect the system from overvoltage. When the battery is started or switched on, the power supply is gradually increased to protect the system from damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. This ensures smooth and safe operation of the battery system.
Long cycle life
The Growatt ark battery modules are an ideal storage solution for photovoltaic systems due to their extremely long cycle life and the use of LiFePo4 cells. bms control unit
The Growatt hvC-60050-a1 bms is a central monitoring and control unit that is part of the ark hv high-voltage battery system and supports communication with the Growatt spa and sph inverters. Up to 10 battery modules, each with a capacity of 2.56 kWh, can be connected to this bms. These modules can be connected in series to form a battery tower offering a total capacity of up to 25.64 kWh. Storage towers can also be connected together, with one bms required per tower.

The control parameters include the state of charge (soc), the mains voltage, the current, the cell voltage, the cell temperature and the PCBA temperature measurement. By precisely monitoring these parameters, the bms ensures optimum battery performance and longevity.
Flexible expansion
Growatt's ark battery system offers a high degree of flexibility thanks to its expandable configuration options, which range from 2.56 kWh to 25.6 kWh. Installation and expansion of the system is simple and straightforward thanks to the modular design and the use of cables. Another innovation of the ark system is that, unlike other battery systems, no battery cabinet is required. Only a battery base is required for a stable stand.
