The heavy version cable roof gland with one entrance in the colour black. Made of solid ABS plastic and equipped with an IP68 screw connection. The bushings are designed for use in mobile areas on cars, motor homes or boats. The ideal roof duct for medium mechanical stress (occasional access for maintenance or cleaning). Compared to the light version, 4 times the amount of ABS plastic has been used.
The roof grommet is suitable for cables with an outer diameter of 3-12mm. No information can be given on the suitable cable cross-section, as the thickness of the cable insulation can vary.
If the roof duct has been professionally bonded, it offers solid protection against penetrating moisture and dust in conjunction with the PEG glands. The glands comply with protection class IP68 and are included in the scope of delivery.
As an adhesive, we recommend Dekalin MS-5 adhesive set. (Not included in the scope of delivery).
