How does the all-in-one system work?

In traditional systems, the DC energy from the solar modules is often converted into AC energy (alternating current) using a separate inverter. With the Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro, however, this conversion is performed directly by the integrated micro inverter. This reduces energy losses and allows the generated energy to be used immediately for the household or fed into the grid. An integrated lithium-ion battery stores the excess energy that is not consumed immediately. This allows solar energy to be used even at night or on cloudy days. The built-in solar controller ensures optimal charging and discharging management of the battery to maximize the efficiency of the system. It regulates the voltage and current coming from the solar panels, preventing the battery from overcharging or deep discharging. With its IP65 protection rating, the system can be placed on your balcony, in the garden, or indoors.

The Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro (MPN A17C13Z1) from Anker is the first all-in-one storage system with 4 MPP trackers and a maximum output of 2400W for your balcony power plant. Store solar energy in the 1600Wh battery and supply your home with 800W AC power.

With the Anker Solix BP1600 expansion battery (MPN A17C03A1), you can increase the storage capacity of your Solix solar bank by 1600Wh. Up to 5 batteries can be connected to a solar bank. With a long service life of up to 6,000 charging cycles, the batteries provide reliable energy. The battery stores the excess electricity generated by your balcony power plant that is not currently being used in your household for later use.
