Dekaseal 8936 is the classic among the sealants It can be dabbed off and impresses with its particularly high impermeability, UV resistance and elasticity, as it does not harden. Dekaseal 8936 is used by both laymen and professionals. After use, the effort required for cleaning is particularly low, as excess residues can be removed without difficulty.
Adhesion
In general, Dekaseal 8936 adheres well without pre-treatment to clean, dry, dust and grease free substrates made of aluminum, stainless steel, zinc, copper, brass, powder coated metal, most painted metal surfaces, glass, pvc, polyester (grp), painted wood, etc. No adhesion without pretreatment on polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon®.For properties on substrates not mentioned and further information, please contact Dekalin.

Processing
Dekaseal 8936 can be applied by hand or with a compressed air gun. When using compressed air, 2-3 bar are required. Brush into joints, gaps, etc. and smooth. excess material can be dabbed off with itself after a short flash-off time. The material can be removed with turpentine substitute. The sealant remains slightly tacky after drying, but is odorless and compatible with paint.
